About Us
Hello! I'm Courtney, the founder of Wrapped In Love. I live in South East Melbourne with my two sons, husband and golden retriever.
I have always considered myself a 'greenie'. Last year I was shocked to learn that in Australia at Christmas time alone, we go through around 150,000 kilometres of wrapping paper each year. A lot of this ends up in landfill (even when people have the best intentions and put it in the recycling bin!).
I have always been conscious of the amount of waste my household and I produce, so I decided to make my own fabric gift wrapping and use a Japanese technique called furoshiki for the wrapping.
After posting it on social media, I was overwhelmed by comments and how much my friends and family loved it. I had multiple people asking if I was going to sell them, so Wrapped In Love was born.
I value quality, excellent customer service and taking conscious steps to reduce my carbon footprint. These values are reflected in Wrapped In Love.
Helping me create these beautiful wraps is Kat.
Kat is a mum of two boys and lives in the eastern suburbs of Melbourne with her husband. Her household is completed by two very well loved guinea pigs.
In the last few years she had made huge leaps in making her household more sustainable and significantly reducing waste. Kat was taught to sew by her Grandma and Mum and is using her skills to help bring more sustainable options to other households.
